If you thought Honda was done growing, you thought wrong. The auto manufacturer has announced plans to extend its plants in Russells Point and Anna, Ohio to build its next-generation transmissions. The Russells Point plant will now make a continuously variable transmission that will increase fuel economy and lower emissions, and the Anna plant will add an 84-thousand-square foot area that will make components for the new CVT. The Anna plant primarily makes engines at this point. The new transmission components are a part of Honda's new "Earth Dreams Technology."
